The John Stewart Company began in 1978 with a commitment to providing high quality management for affordable housing in the Bay Area. Today, JSCo is a full-service housing management, development, and consulting organization employing over 1,000 people state-wide. According to the California Real Estate Journal, JSCo became the third largest manager of multi-family housing in California in 2002.
